As a lifelong resident of California, I must profess that my standard for food is pretty high (as are those of my VoyJoie clients). I spent a lot of time researching the food scene of Buenos Aires and really wanted to hit the current highlights, which I am happy to report are many! The Palermo neighborhood, in particular, has a huge array of choice and is known to be where the best restaurants in the city are housed. Below is the first half of my TOP TEN guide to Palermo Dining...trust me, it is worth going to Buenos Aires even if you do nothing other than eat! Buen Provecho! #1 iLatina

Many people (especially my family) think I am crazy that I insist on traveling only with a carry-on bag. To be perfectly honest, I have no 'cons' to report, only a solid 'pros' list. Let me point out the obvious (maybe not so obvious to you) benefits:
As the second largest country in South America (and the 8th largest in the world), Argentina has a lot of ground to cover - literally. When planning my trip, it was really important to me that I get a mix of city and nature, to hit a few must-have destinations while still leaving room for things a bit off the beaten path. Loaded up on tons of visual inspiration (thanks to my VoyJoie Pinterest Boards), my first round of editing allowed me to narrow down my choices to 5 key destinations: Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Iguazu Falls, Mendoza & Patagonia.
Over the past year, a few of my clients have expressed an interest in exploring Argentina, a country that coincidentally/conveniently has been sitting on my personal list of ‘top 5 places to travel’. Since December is the start of their peak season, it seemed like the ideal time to embark on a VoyJoie sourcing trip to explore what Argentina had to offer!
